his primary goal for one required class was to spend the entire semester to prove the God couldn’t exist.
His students were always afraid to argue with him because of his impeccable logic.
Sure, some had argue in class at times, but no one had ever gone against him because of his reputation.
At the end of every semester,
on the last day he would say to his class of 300 students,“If there is anyone here who still believes in Jesus, STAND up!”
In twenty years, no one had ever stood up,they knew what he was going to do next, he would say,
“Because anyone who believes in god is a fool”
“If god existed, he could stop this peice of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking.”
“If god can’t even do this simple task to prove that he is god and yet can’t do it.”
And every year, he would drop the chalk onto the tile floor of classroom and it would shattered into many peices.
Most of the students thought that god couldn’t exist and certainly a number of Christians had slipped through,
but for 20years people were afraid of standing up.
Than there’s a freshman who happened to enroll into this class.
He was a believer and he heard storied about this professor.
He was required to take this class for his major and he was afraid.But for three months, that semester,
he prayed every morning,that he would have the courage to stand up,
no matter what the professor say or the what class thought,
he hoped that nothing could ever shatter his faith.
Finally, the day came, the professor asked,“If there is anyone who still believes in Jesus, is a fool!”
The freshman guy, stood up and he shocked the teacher and the classmates.
The professor shouted at him, “you FOOL!”
“If god existed, he would keep this peice of chalk from breaking, when it hits the floor!”
-He proceeded to drop the chalk.-
As he did,the chalk slipped from his hand, off his shirt cuff, onto the pleat of his pants,
down his legs and off his shoes.
As it hit onto the ground, it simply rolled away without unbroken.
The professor stared at the chalk with his jaw dropped,
stared at the young men and ran out from the lecture hall.
The man who stood proceeded to walk to the front of the room to share about his faith about Jesus Christ for half an hour.
The 300 students stayed and listened.
